Liu Jie stressed at the public debate on the theme “West lake beauty and cultural preservation”
Full respect for public opinion, broad concentration of people's minds.
High standards for the promotion of western lake beauty and cultural preservation
Master Liu Xian.
This afternoon, the “West Lake looks and cultural protection” public debate was held. Liu Jie, the Provincial Standing Committee and the City Council Secretary, stressed the need to learn more about the implementation of Xi Jinping’s important instructions to protect, manage, and use West Lake, and to establish a people’s sense of supremacy, with full respect for popular opinion, a broad concentration of people’s minds, high standards to advance the West Lake’s image and cultural preservation, and to make heaven’s pearls more glamorous and glamorous. The Deputy Secretary of the City Council, Mayor Liu Xing, attended by Chen Xing, Huang Hai Feng, Chuhua and Tindi. During the meeting, Yang Xiaoju, an expert in human history; Yang Xiaoju, the former Director of the West Lake Heritage Centre in Hangzhou; Bo Chi Yi, Honorary Director of the Parking and Building Institute at Zhejiang University; Shu Hsin, a press commentator at Zhejiang Guangsheng Group; Hu Houn, Deputy Director General of Paper; Lu Qi, Vice-President of the Association of Network Writers of Zhejiang Province; and Gu Yajun, a national observer, Tan Shning, spoke successively on how to further improve the image and cultural protection of West Lake. Having listened carefully to the suggestions made, Liu Jie, on behalf of the City Council and the municipality, expressed appreciation for the many years of interest in Hangzhou and apologized for the planting of willows along the part of the lake in West Lake. West Lake, he said, was a feature of Hangzhou’s culture, a unique symbol of Hangzhou’s distinction from other cities, and a spiritual home for all Hangzhou’s people. Western Lake moved along parts of the lake’s willows, destroying the city’s natural ecological environment and historical and cultural landscape, and damaging the people’s memory and deep feelings of Hangzhou. There is a need for serious reflection, awareness-raising and greater awareness of the importance of good West Lake looks and cultural protection as a litmus test of political commitment and political capacity, as a corollary to the high standard of building historic and cultural cities, as well as an important step towards the creation of a common space for people to share in a better life, and a constant increase in the intellectual and operational self-consciousness of West Lake looks and cultural preservation. The mission of protecting the West Lake must be carried out with greater determination and with a sense of respect for history, culture and ecology, with better mechanisms, better methods and implementation of responsibilities, and with a sense of solidarity and shared responsibility. Liu Jie stressed the need to protect first, to protect, manage, operate, and research in a coordinated manner, and to ensure that the culture of West Lake is preserved. To highlight ecological priorities, the West Lake landscape should be valued as much as life, the West Lake ecosystem should be protected as eyes, responsibility must be strictly enforced, the principle of “minimum intervention” must always be upheld, and high standards must be used to promote the quality of West Lake’s environment. To maintain the people's position, to remain steadfast and unswerving, to return to the people, to the effective and efficient mechanisms, to the people, to the “call for me”, to the scientific and democratic decision-making, to the full participation of the people at large in the beauty of the West Lake and in the protection of their culture, and to the growing sense of happiness and satisfaction. Liu Jie said that the leaders at all levels of the city needed to strengthen their learning, deepen their understanding of the cultural heritage of the West Lake world, constantly raise awareness of the importance of the western lake's beauty and cultural preservation, and seriously implement the relevant initiatives so that the West Lake, a common heritage of mankind, could be perpetuated. It is hoped that the supervisors will continue to support Hangzhou’s efforts, particularly with regard to western lake beauty and cultural preservation, with more and better advice. As in the past, the municipal councils and municipalities will give their full support to public opinion monitoring, respond to the concerns of the population in a timely manner, take the initiative to improve their work, work together to improve the situation in Hangzhou, and work to showcase the age of the historic and cultural city of Hangzhou. Previous reports:
Willow trees at West Lake Bridge have been replanted overnight.
@Weibo13 reported last night that seven willow trees along the lake had been replanted on North Mountain Street (Breaking Bridge-Paul Road) which was of interest to citizens. In order to minimize the collision of new willows and sorghum canopy on North Mountain Street, the Council organized a team of professionals in gardening to search for high-quality willow seedling trees suitable for the area, comparing them to heights, sizes, looks and morphology, and to ensure that the new willows are integrated into the existing growth environment, in coordination with the West Lake landscape, and to restore the landscape as much as possible. One tree, one brick, of the west lake, should be cherished. Willows will be planted to promote healthy growth by identifying problems in willow growth in a timely manner, including through special monitoring, health checks, and follow-up observations. With regard to the lack of sun and space for willows, as the willows grow, we will do our best to ensure that the new willows grow healthy and depend on the West Lake. In the recent past, 40 willow trees that have been planted in the area of the portal to the willows have been purchased on an emergency basis and willows that are close to the original willows will be replaced by 14 a.m.
In response to this incident, the Council will insist on the facts and conduct an in-depth investigation into the deficiencies in the functioning of the units and personnel involved, their failure to discharge their duties and their responsibility, and hold them accountable in accordance with the law.
As in the past, CMS will act with love to further protect a tree of grass in West Lake, preserve landscape plants with culture and emotion, and protect mountain waters in West Lake.
