On May 20, the National Bureau of Statistics published an average wage data for 2021, an annual average of 106,837 Yuan for non-private sector employees in the country’s towns and cities in 2021, with three of the highest annual average wage divisions being information transfer, software and information technology services (IT) 201,506 Yuan, scientific research and technical services 151,776 Yuan, and finance 150,843 Yuan, all higher than last year. As for the average annual wage for private sector employees in towns and cities, 62,884 Yuan, the three industries with the highest annual average pay are 114618 Yuan for information transfer, software and information technology services, 95416 Yuan for finance, and 77708 Yuan for scientific research and technology services.
