2022-05-20: [Article Link]  On 19 May, the Government of Canada, citing so-called national security reasons, announced a ban on the use of Chinese, Chinese and Chinese products and services by telecommunications systems and stated that it was a decision taken after an assessment by the security services and in consultation with the allies. The so-called “security” considerations are nothing more than a cover for political manipulation. I would like to stress that the above-mentioned misdeeds are bound to undermine the international image of the country and its own interests. China will fully and seriously evaluate the incident and take all necessary measures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises.
