The Republic has lost 18 academicians of the two academies this year
2022-06-23: [Article Link] According to the @Lightday newspaper, the expert in semiconductor materials, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and a research fellow at the Chinese Academy of Sciences semiconductor, Liang Xiaoyu, died on 23 June 2022 in Beijing and is 89 years old. Liang was born in September 1933, a Wuhan from Hubei, graduated from Wuhan University in 1955, studied for an associate doctor from 1956 to 1960 at the Institute of Metallurgical Research in Bajkov, Moscow, of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, and was awarded an associate doctor of technical sciences in 1960, and was elected to the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1997. Liang was a senior expert in silicon material research in my country and served as Director and Honorary Director of the semi-electronic materials branch of the Chinese Electronics Institute. He resolved key techniques for silicon melting in high-purity areas in the 1960s, preparing room temperature lasers with GaAs liquid-phase extraterrestrial materials in 1964; developing in 1979 a high-quality silicon monocrystal crystal that was successfully used for large-scale integrated circuits, non-vortex, low-microde, low-carbon, controlled oxygen levels; starting in the 1980s to transform silicon monocrysil crystals with nitrogen blending, resolving the problem of silicon silicon integrity and homogeneity; and studying in the early 1990s the MOCVD growing hypercrystinium platinum material, moving China's hypercryctic mass material to a functional level in the areas of crystal integrity, electrolytic performance and hypercrystal structure control. In an interview, Liang Jiangu said that it was to be hoped that, through his scientific experience, young scientists would be inspired to see that the cause could make a difference and that they would feel that they could do the same. Since 2022, the Republic has suffered the loss of 18 members of both chambers, and on 1 January, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, non-partisans, experts in precision machine-bed design and crafts, and a senior engineer of the Scientific and Technical Committee of the former Ministry of Mechanical Industry (MCI) died in Beijing, at the age of 88.
