Epidemic Control Command
6 August 2022
It's been announced at 3:00 in the morning.
Implementation of temporary global static management from 6 o'clock
(As previously reported: temporary global static management in Sanya)
And from 3 p.m. today,
The Hainan mausoleum has also entered temporary global static management.
On 6 August, Hainan Sanya introduced temporary global static management, and the streets of the former Maroon are now out of space.
This afternoon, the city of Sanya, Hainan Province, held a press conference to provide an update on the prevention and control of the epidemic.
1. The various social and trade associations and enterprises will do their utmost to provide high-quality and sensitive services to tourists. They have now set up out-of-order work assignments to ensure that orders are properly placed due to force majeure factors such as the epidemic and that the legitimate rights and interests of tourists are safeguarded.
2. Some 32,000 people currently in Sanya belong to hotel-staying tourists, and the hotel has been temporarily static since 6 a.m. on 6 August 2022, providing half-priced continuity services for passengers. Out-of-island train tickets are off-limits.
Today, at about 15 p.m., journalists from the railway’s 12306 website learned that the railway sector had banned all sales in the Sanya region, and that citizens could not leave the Sanya region by rail. Currently, Sanya stations, Yalong Bay, Phoenix Airport, and cliff State stations cannot enter, and the recovery time will be announced.
Breakout: Large off-island flights cancelled.
Someone's been asked to board the plane.
Of greater concern than trains are the off-island flights in Hainan Island.
According to inquiries from platforms such as the " Prescription " and the " Flying Pigs ", this afternoon the San Phoenix Airport aircraft was cancelled in large areas, including from Sanya to Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Lanzhou, where there is no direct flight programme. With regard to departure flights, as of 14 p.m., 38 departures, 2 departures and 164 departures had been cancelled, 82 of which were unplanned and temporarily cancelled due to weather and other reasons. As at 6 August, at 1240 hours, a total of 410 flights to and from San Phoenix Airport had been planned, with 334 cancelled, or 81 per cent. According to the first financial journalist, there are now midway flights to Sanya, while planned flights already at Sanya airport are required to leave Sanya without passengers, and flights that have arrived but have not yet taken off are required to leave Sanya only by air.
Many visitors in Sanya choose to leave early today, or even sleep at the airport one day in advance, avoiding being held hostage at home or in hotels. But Sanya airport has been informed that the terminal will not get in, and some tourists who want to get back to their places of departure find it impossible to leave. The Shanghai Citizen Ms. Tsai told The Papar that the family intended to return to Shanghai in the morning of 4 August, but in the evening of 3 August the Sanya side issued a request that access to the airport be subject to two negative nucleotide certificates of 48 hours. In the two days of waiting to return to Shanghai, a family was afraid to go anywhere but lined up for nucleic acid, and the hotel gyms, swimming pools, canteens were shut down and the takeout almost disappeared. Ms. Choi felt that “the situation seemed to be getting worse and worse.” At 4 a.m. today, the family arrived at San Phoenix Airport and at 10 a.m. successfully boarded the plane. At about 1400 hours, at the signal of the crew, some 200 passengers on board left the plane and proceeded to the terminal.
“Too much.” Ms. Choi informed the press that she had now accepted arrangements from the relevant authorities to travel to the isolation hotel for a temporary period of seven days.
It cost a lot of money to fly away.
The fare has soared to tens of thousands that it's still too much to ask for.
In the first half of the last summer, Hainan was one of the main destinations for domestic passengers. The latest statistics from the air controllers show that in the first half of the 2022 summer flight (1 July-31 July) some 1349,000 passengers flew into Hainan, ranking fourth among the high-profile arrivals of civil aviation passengers in July, arriving at Hainan’s air fare at a very high price, and that airlines were replacing the broad-body plane to Hainan. However, as a result of the epidemic, the full price of the trip to Sanya in Shanghai began to drop, and the return ticket hit the full price too. A journalist’s enquiries at around 10:30 a.m. revealed that today’s Sanya direct flight to Shanghai left only two flights, Spring and South, with only one ticket left, and only one ticket left left was the full cost of the economy class, 3160 Yuan, and the full cost of business class, 15840 Yuan. For example, this morning’s journalist inquiry found that Chengdu and Beijing’s direct flight route to and from Sanya is no longer open for sale, that there are no direct flights to Beijing and Chengdu tomorrow, and that to return from Sanya they can only choose a transit flight. At present, several divisions, such as China National Airlines, Orient Airlines, South Air, Hainan Air, Xiamen Aviation and Shenzhen Aviation, have introduced special re-signing policies for flights in and out of the port at Sanya and Seaports.
More than 800,000 tourists remain.
The Sanya epidemic is a major setback for the tourism industry.
The Sanya epidemic has been concentrated and has spread to Chongqing, Guangdong and eight municipalities and districts in Hainan Province; moreover, the poison strain is also the mutant BA.5.1.3 of Omicron, which has a high transmission power. How can Henan be seen to have experienced the greatest and most complex outbreak since the Omicron mutagenic epidemic this time? How can the spread be stopped quickly, and the dynamics achieved as soon as possible? It is estimated that more than 80,000 tourists remain in Sanya, and at this difficult time, Sanya, as a tourist city, needs more attention and services for tourists who remain in Sanya. According to current data analysis, the infected are now mainly local residents.
The current tria epidemic has had a direct impact on tourism enterprises, including groups, local connections, local landscapes, etc. A large number of sites, such as the Sanan mountain cultural tourism area, the Tropical Paradise Forest Park in the Bay of Yalong, the island of Sujia, the corner of the Taiwan Strait, the island of the West, and deer returns, have now been suspended.
According to the data from SkyEnd, Sanya's current name or scope of operation includes “tourism, travel, airline tickets, hotels, air travel, travel agencies, landscape areas” and the number of tourism-related enterprises operating, continuing, moving in or out of the country exceeds 32,000. Of these, 75 per cent were established within five years, with the highest number of registered businesses ever recorded in 2021, exceeding 9,200 annual registrations and increasing at an annual rate of 46.7 per cent. “It was a very popular tourist destination, and it was a policyly popular tourist, after all, that tourism was one of the main industries in the region. In the first half of the year, domestic tourism revenues and tourist arrivals declined, and tourism workers had a difficult time, so the summer market became a valued business opportunity for all. However, after repeated outbreaks in Gansu and the North Sea, Sanya is now also affected by the epidemic, and the impact on summer travel markets is still strong.” Zhejiang is infected with a virus strain.
It's an Omicron BA.5.2 mutant.
Five-generation cases in six days.
Today, 6 August, in the afternoon, Zhejiang province held the 120th press conference on the prevention and control of the Covic-19 Pandemic, to provide an update on the prevention and control of the epidemic. The Zhejiang epidemic cumulatively reported 28 cases of internal diagnosis and 190 cases of non-symptomatic infections, of which 92.7 per cent were screened by key populations, such as concentrated isolation, home segregation and medium- and high-risk areas. From the source of the epidemic, it is clear that seven days prior to the return of the first case, on 29 July, there is a history of travel in the area of the epidemic, which is concentrated in the interior of the province, and has been sequenced by the virus's genes as a mutated strain of the Omicron BA.5.2, and at the same level as in the area of the epidemic outside the province. This is also the first indigenous concentrated outbreak in Zhejiang province caused by this mutagenic strain. Compared to previous strains, the incubation period is shorter, more powerful, and more rapid, with five generations of cases occurring in just six days. In terms of the chain of transmission, the chain of transmission of the epidemic is generally clear, the existing infected persons are on the chain of transmission where the first cases occur and no infected persons outside the chain are currently found.
In terms of regional distribution, the concentration of the epidemic is evident in its spread, mainly through the Qingguchi market, the commercial complex and within the family. It is highly concentrated in the Qingguchi market and the surrounding area of the Jiangdong street in the city of Yeu. The cases of overflows occur mainly before the outbreak is detected and disposed of.
In terms of development trends, local infections in Uu have been detected through a combination of concentrated isolation, sub-entity isolation and screening of key personnel, the proportion of concentrated and residential isolation detected has been increasing. New positive tests have been conducted since 5 August for key control personnel such as concentrated isolation, residential isolation and medium- and high-risk areas. The spread of the disease in communities with low-risk areas has been initially controlled and a downward trend is beginning to emerge. The outbreak in the spilled areas has been identified at a clear source, early and fast disposal, and the risk of subsequent spread is generally manageable. Please report immediately.
Sichuan Province, as well as cities such as Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Nanning and the North Sea, sent important reminders to those with a history of living in epidemic-risk areas to report in a timely manner.
Shanghai has also issued a circular to further strengthen the health management of returning persons, such as those at risk of the epidemic, requiring those who have a history of living in an epidemic-risk area within seven days to report to their village councils and units (or guest houses) as soon as possible and no more than 12 hours after arrival.
