On today's 27th day, Google reported that, as a further step to curb the spread of the "net water army" and related black and grey industry, the Ministry of Public Security's Cybersecurity Bureau has been launching a six-month-long campaign against the "net water army" throughout the country.
According to the Internet Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, in recent years, investigations and raids have been conducted in accordance with the law against offences related to the “Internet Water Force” and more than 600 related cases have been investigated in the past three years, and more than 4,000 suspects have been arrested.
However, as a result of such factors as the "flow economy" and the "crowd economy", criminal activities related to the "Internet Water Force" continue to be prohibited. In some cases, the "net water army" is used to provide support by distributing illegal and harmful information, such as "hot spots", "hot spots", or "hot spots", with the intention of manipulating or disrupting the online debate; using false and negative information as a means of extorting blackmail and violating the legitimate rights of the public; and illegally providing a service of compensating and miscalculating criticism to disrupt the economic and social management order of the market. According to the Internet Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, in line with the idea of “opening the road and promoting governance”, the competent authorities will be brought together during the fight against criminal activities related to the law, working together to curb the responsibilities of the Internet platform's main body and strengthening the governance of the network.
